As time has progressed for me I am more humane and I have changed my eating habits to accommodate. These eggs are very fresh and the shells are nice and hard. I have always been a fan of brown eggs since I was a child and we had chickens which roamed free. I would like to thank your company for taking that extra step against animal cruelty, no matter what the animal and I am very very happy to pay the price that it takes to make a difference.

I am a coupon clipper so the price was right for me to try these eggs. One purchase was all it took! I love everything about these eggs, the color, the quality, the taste, etc. Now I only purchase Eggland's Best Eggs. Of course, I still try to use a coupon and find them on sale but I will even buy them without the above and for a true couponer like myself that says it all!

When we moved to Fort Wainwright the commissary selection was small without the variety like we use to have. Mon 7/27/2009 6:18 PM Just wanted to let you know that you really do have the BEST eggs. I always buy Eggland; however, I ran short and asked my cousin to stop a pick up a dozen eggs for me. He didn't get Eggland and Boy! could I tell the difference. Not only was the taste off but also the consistency of the egg white. The minute I cracked the egg into a skillet, the white just ran all over the skillet; it didn't stay in place as Eggland eggs do. I couldn't wait to use up the eggs so I could get my Egglands back. I turned my cousin on to Eggland eggs, too! Thanks for a great product!

There has been times when I have bought bulk eggs, and you can't see all of them and when you get home, a few will be cracked or broke. I try to buy Eggland's Best every weekend, but sometimes I have to buy my store brand. I don't really like doing that but with the way the economy is, I have to. Either way, Egglands's Best, ARE in fact, the best. At least in my book.

We found your product by accident, I literally borrowed an egg from a neighbor and it had a funny stamp on it. I started looking for them in the grocery store and found this wonderful egg. I eat your 3 to 4 times week because I have Macular Degeneration in my eyes and my doctor wanted me to eat a lot more lutein in my diet besides taking pills with lutein. That's where your eggs come into play. I eat the extra large eggs because you have a lot more MG of lutein in those than the large. So thanks for the lutein in your eggs. The only reason I buy Eggland eggs is because it is just my husband and myself and we don't eat a large amount of eggs, so I don't mind paying a little more. Every time we had eggs for a meal, we would comment to each other how fresh and clean they tasted. We figured it was just because we ate them while they were generally fresh and we just don't eat them much. However, I happened to be at our local warehouse store and I wanted eggs for some Easter dishes I was preparing (I had used all my Eggland eggs for coloring Easter eggs), I had to buy two dozen of another brand. We had eggs and bacon the next day, and I have to say, we both noticed a BIG difference in the taste. Not nearly as good or fresh tasting as Eggland eggs. My husband was disappointed that I had hard boiled all the "good eggs", although they tasted just as great boiled. I will never purchase any other brand of egg again! Thank you for a wonderful product.

My mother loves eggs and I make them for her each morning. When she was a child, her grandmother used to have a chicken coup in the back yard and she would go out to pick up the eggs for breakfast. She tells me how wonderful my eggs are every morning. She is now 88, and eating eggs everyday for breakfast for that many years, I think she's pretty much an expert at what makes a good egg. We love the flavor, consistent freshness, and the efficient, recyclable packaging. A little more expensive, but well worth the price. And now we'll also be buying your new Hard-Cooked Peeled Eggs! We tried a package a few days ago, rather ironically, as I had just hard-boiled and peeled a half dozen of your fresh eggs the day before! :-) When I then saw the new product in the egg case at Publix, I knew immediately that I had to try them. I really don't like the awkwardness of preparing them myself. We like egg salad a lot, and now that three-quarters of the work is already done for us with your product, we'll be having egg salad AND deviled eggs much more often! This is good healthy food and we really appreciate the enhanced convenience and time saving your products afford us. Thank you very much!

Two weeks later, I found out that Shoprite also had a great sale on Eggland's Best eggs. We couldn't pass a great deal. So we bought another 4 dozen. With 3 weeks to go on the expiration dates, we're already down to 2 dozen eggs. We're eating them all sorts of ways: fried, scrambled, boiled and I'm baking all sorts of goodies knowing I am using high quality eggs. Just the other day, my 5 yr old commented on how bright the egg yolks were and my husband explained that it was because it's Eggland's Best eggs. Sun 2/22/2009 12:07 PM I am so excited that I had to write to you! I am 42 years old and since I was about 15, I have not been able to eat eggs due to what I thought was an allergy of some sort. As soon as I would eat an egg, literally within 5 minutes, I was so very sick with stomach cramps and ultimately would end up in the bathroom all day long! This includes mayonnaise, tartar sauces, etc. Anything that has eggs in it! I have lived a life of hell with no eggs! On Sunday mornings, when my husband fixes breakfast, he would cook me a steak while everyone else enjoyed the fried or scrambled eggs. If I go to a restaurant, even to get a burger, I have to specify "NO MAYO". About 2 weeks ago, my mother-in-law bumped into a woman at the grocery store in the egg section and this woman started telling her that she too, can't eat eggs and has the very same problem that I do! She told my mom-in-law that she tried Eggland's Best and has no problems whatsoever. My husband eagerly bought me some, with me being very skeptical considering that over the years I have tried everything! Liquid eggs, imitation eggs, etc (most of these are made with real eggs though!) but I gave yours a try anyway. I AM AMAZED!!! It's been 30 minutes since I've eaten two fried eggs this morning, and I am absolutely fine!!! Your brand of eggs have given me back something that I have missed for 27 years!! Do you have a mayonnaise? If not, I would ask that you consider creating one! Oh, what it would be to have a burger or sandwich with mayo again! I have missed years and years of deviled eggs at cookouts, omelets for breakfast, boiled eggs at Easter...and the list goes on. For people that don't suffer from this problem, it may seem trivial and unimportant. For me.....your eggs have saved so much for me...not just the ability to enjoy an egg, but doctor visits for intestinal issues and other issues that I won't mention here!! :) I am so truly grateful for your product and will enjoy my eggs again!! I think the day I bought these eggs must have been "Grossly Incompetent Driver Appreciation Day," as I had to slam on the brakes with the eggs in the back seat of my car due to some IDIOT pulling out in front of me! I expected a huge, eggy mess when I got home, but that was not the case. Not only that, but there was not EVEN A CRACK present in these eggs despite being thrown forward suddenly from the backseat of a car! The way the eggs were packaged made a big difference!

Absolutely the best eggs I've ever eaten! Although they are more expensive than the generic store brand eggs I used to buy, the taste and health benefits both to me, my family and the animals is well worth it. I'm sold and so are your eggs!

They were large and delicious with a yolk of rich gold. What a treat they were. My only other purchase of eggs are outside of the supermarket at nearby farms (organic, free range eggs that I get seasonally, when I can). Adapting to eating these farm fresh eggs have made me a bit of an 'egg snob' when it comes to taste and quality and in the supermarket Egglands Best are the only taste that comes close to farm fresh. Other, lower quality eggs just don't taste good to me and I feel like I am compromising health benefits by purchasing eggs other than Egglands Best or farm fresh. Are you currently offer any coupons or promotions for your regular and/or organic eggs? Thanks!

Mon 12/15/2008 2:48 PM I have always loved eggs and consider myself an egg expert. Most days, I eat eggs for breakfast. Additionally, I like to make warm egg salad, warm potato salad with large chunks of eggs. Deviled eggs are my favorite. I started buying Eggland's Eggs about 2 years ago when I had to make a life choice to change my eating habits. I wanted more naturally-grown foods. I noticed the All Natural label and decided to try Eggland's. They were a little pricey, but I thought I'd just try them and move on to another brand eventually settling on a less expensive brand that offered a naturally-grown egg. The first thing I noticed about the eggs is that they cook up very yellow and fluffy, which is appealing to the eye. The next thing I noticed is that I didn't have to put a lot of salt on them. They have a taste that doesn't require much enhancing. My eggs have to be perfect, not overcooked or undercooked, or I can't eat them. These eggs are tender and are virtually fool proof. Other brands can be tough, tasteless and pale. The white part is cloudy. Until I started using Eggland's eggs, I didn't know there was a difference in eggs. Two years later, I haven't switched yet. I can't bring myself to do it. Even though I'm on a fixed income, I make sure that I have at least a dozen of Eggland's in my refrigerator. On some things I refuse to negotiate a compromise. Your eggs are one of them. Keep up the good work.

Mon 12/1/2008 7:09 AM I'm in the 5th Grade at Lithia Springs Elem. I am doing a science fair project on whether the brand of egg used matters when you attempt to make a translucent egg. To do this, you soak the egg in vinegar for 72 hours. This dissolves the shell, but leaves the egg inside its membrane. You shine a light on it to see the shadow of the yolk inside. I used three brands of eggs to do my experiments. The Eggland's Best egg had the thickest membrane and I could hardly see the yolk inside. The other eggs had really thin membranes and I could see the yolk. It must be that really good diet you feed your hens! My theory was right that your eggs are the best!

The yolks are a beautiful deep yellow and the whites are fluffy. These eggs are so much more satisfying than regular eggs. There is NO comparison. Try them as poached eggs. Wonderful!

After doing some research and seeing the benefits of cage free eggs, I decided to put my coupon to use and try it out. First thing I did was try it by making hard boil eggs (I am not a big fan of), when it was all done, I gave it a try and was very surprised! The yolk was a very yellow color, compare to store brand and the taste was great. Very clean tasting and I actually enjoyed eating it! My family loves it and even though it is price a little more than store brand, I try to adjust my grocery budget around to get your brand! Thanks again for your product!

Our store shelves were a bit bare after the hurricane, so I reluctantly bought the store brand eggs that I thought were possibly close to the quality of Eggland's. Much to my dismay, they were not even close (I should have known) and what made matters worse, they were almost double the price of Eggland's. Your eggs are delicious, my four year old grandson loves Eggland's, and when he is here, he loves to help me scramble the Eggland's (he even knows the name of the eggs). Thankfully, we weathered the storm named Ike, and thankfully, my grocery store has been able to stock the shelves again with Eggland's Best. I would have thought “hog wash” to borrow a phrase from grandpa. I was wrong. My mother-in-law uses only EB eggs and now I know why. I had the best scrambled eggs with her one morning. I went and bought my own to repeat the experience and it was true. So I’m converted. It’s EB only from now on for me too!

Wed 9/3/2008 4:07 PM I just purchased Egglands best eggs for the first time last week. I just wanted to say that they are wondeful. My husband & I both agree that there is a huge difference between your eggs and the other store brand of eggs we used to buy. Notice I said used to. We are now going to be buying only Egglands best. I had made hard boiled eggs and half of them were the Egglands best and the others were the store brand. You can even tell a difference just looking at them. The yolks looked more yellow and the egg actually smelled better. I never really thought there was much of a difference between eggs but now I know there is. We also made scrambled eggs with the Egglands best and they were so good. You now have us as a customer. Your eggs are truly the best!!!

8/5/2008 3:12 PM Recently I tried Eggland's Best Eggs...never really dreaming that there is a difference in eggs...but, being forced to be ever budget minded of groceries, I tried them because they were on sale, and less than the store brand. I thought an egg is an egg. Well, I made a Lemon Meringue Pie, and it was the best pie I ever made...not only in my opinion, but my husband’s as well...and it is the same recipe that I have always used. No, I did not attribute that better tasting pie to the choice of eggs...I just figured since it had been awhile since I had made a pie, it just "seemed" to taste better. Later that week, I made fried eggs...for breakfast, and much to my surprise, the eggs seemed to taste better than usual. I cooked them the same as always... Another day, I made scotch eggs...and the yokes held their color after being boiled and were bright yellow... I guess what I am trying to say, is that I am now a believer that Eggland's Eggs truly ARE better than your average egg and just thought I'd let you know. (although I am sure you already know!!) Thank you for a superior product.

7/31/2008 12:12 PM You might find this strange. I purchased your eggs for the vitamin benefits and lower fat and cholesterol. I found them good but really didn't appreciate them until I bought store brand eggs again. Being a cheapskate, I thought I'd pinch pennies and go back to the store brand. When I made my usually morning scrambled egg, wow was there a difference! I hadn't noticed how BAD other eggs are. Runny, didn't cook fluffy, taste was absent so I had to use a ton of salt and pepper. Just YUCK! I threw away the carton and made a beeline back to the market to get egg-lands best. My father has been struggling with high cholesterol for several years and I myself worry that I too will someday be diagnosed with this as well since it is very common in our family. I was visiting my parents for the weekend recently and they served Eggland's Best eggs for breakfast and I was shocked at how much better they are than regular eggs. The flavor and texture is so much more pleasing, and I was even able to get my two year old to eat these without smothering them in ketchup! I was a little dubious, but was able to pick some up at Costco, and then at my local Harris Teeter with some coupons that came in the Sunday paper. There isn't any nasty smell when I cook them. I thought that that smell was common to the egg. I am SO glad that it's not common. What a difference! Tues 6/17/2008 3:01 PM I can not think of a more appropriate name than "Eggland's Best" for they are undoubtedly the very best eggs that I have ever eaten.! I have been using your eggs for only a short period of time but what a difference in taste I have found them superior in preparing meals such as omelets ad deviled eggs also in baking as well. I am a 76 year old widow and with the cost of food getting increasingly high, I find that I can not use meats in meal preparation as I was doing several months ago. However, your delicious eggs have "saved the day" for me. I use them in making omelets, French toast, and a variety of pancakes and waffles. I try to prepare deviled eggs a couple of times a week and use these as a snack when I get hungry. It is amazing how much protein I get in using your eggs. I can buy store brands much less expensively... but as long as I can manage Eggland's Best eggs in my budget, I am definitely going do so.

He told me that I should thinking about stopping to eat eggs. I was devastated. I love eating eggs- egg salad- scrambled eggs- fried eggs............ Mon 6/9/2008 12:01 PM HI, The old style carton is better. Eggland eggs are good, but the eggs get stuck in their plastic cups and have to be pried off, and when that happens the egg breaks and that makes for a very expensive carton of eggs. I lost at least two out of 12, with three having to be removed with water, the carton tossed and the eggs put into a bowl.

Just wanted to tell you how great I think these eggs are. I am 69 years old and breakfast has always been my favorite meal of the day. I never tried Egg-Land's Best until yesterday for two reasons. Number one, I don't believe half what I see and hear in television commercials and other ads, number two, I have a very limited income and EB's are more expensive than most other eggs. Well, on a whim, I decided to buy your eggs while doing my weekly grocery shopping yesterday. Everything you say in your ads is true. These all the best eggs I have ever eaten!! I have been an Eggland's Best Eggs eater since they came out because, having raised hens for their eggs, I appreciated the feed and mobility of Eggland's hens. I just returned from a 2-month cruise on one of the ships of the top of the line luxury small ships. I had my usual soft boiled egg every morning. I noticed a difference in the taste, but could not put my finger on it. The first morning back at home, I had my usual Eggland's Best Egg and discovered what it was. I find it difficult to explain so that everybody understands, but not only was the taste of the egg different, but so was the texture. To put it in a "eggshell" there was body and taste so different than the eggs on the ship. In my comment form, at the end of the cruise, I suggested they use Eggland's Best Eggs and advertise it in their food menu.

A few months ago, I saw an advertisement on GRNow.com for Herbruck’s Egg’s. I clicked on the banner ad, which took me to the Eggland’s Best website. My knowledge of eggs was fairly limited, but I was interested to learn about Eggland’s best products and company practices on the website. I was so impressed, that I started buying Eggland’s Best Eggs on every shopping trip. I’ve haven’t had one defective Eggland’s egg (double yoke, cracked shell, missing yoke etc.). I’ve been overly impressed with the quality, and even more impressed with the company practices in producing the eggs. I have always bought the bleached regular eggs for myself as an adult, they are cheaper, so in my mind they made more sense economically. However, I was wrong! I got a coupon in the Sunday paper for 50 cents off the Organic or Cage free eggs. It didn't make them as inexpensive as the regular ones, but I remember as a child having the delicious brown eggs that my Grandmother in Rhode Island would make for me on summer vacation... SO I bought the Cage Free ones and we had them for breakfast this morning. My two year old picky eater won't eat an over easy egg if it "pops" so I usually make 2 of the other eggs before one is "healthy" enough to not "pop". But I have to tell you, not ONE of your eggs was weak and watery. They are thick and can handle being flipped. He ate 3! That's an amazing thing. I want to thank you for your great eggs! I might not always be able to fit the extra cost into the budget for weekly shopping, but I promise that when we are planning to have eggs, or if I have a recipe that calls for super delicious great eggs, I will buy your cage free ones, even if I don't have a coupon. I wanted to tell you that I started eating your "EGGLAND’S BEST EGGS" a couple of months ago and I must admit I have not tasted eggs that have had the taste and quality of your eggs since I lived on a farm back in the 1940’s. I am a vegetarian (but I eat dairy) and really just forced myself to eat eggs for the protein prior to trying EB eggs. Now I crave them! My husband was always telling me that an egg is an egg. I kept saying that an egg over here in America didn’t taste half as nice as the eggs I grew up on back in Ireland. I just wanted to take a moment to tell you how much I enjoy your Eggland’s Best Eggs! They are a part of the "Fat Flush Plan" program that I recently started. On this plan, you are supposed to eat 2 eggs every day, but the stipulation is that they be Omega-3 rich, vegetarian-fed eggs. I have to say, I had seen your eggs at my market but never tried them until last week when I started this program. What a difference! The freshness and "clean" taste of the eggs is sooooooo different from that of the store-brand eggs. Even when I go off this plan, I intend to continue to always use Eggland’s Best. The store-brand may be cheaper, but the difference in taste and quality is well worth the additional price.

Finally we have found the tastiest eggs on the market! We are rather recent emigrees to Arkansas and have not been pleased with the quality or taste of eggs your competitor’s market in stores in northwest Arkansas.

We can now enjoy eggs - fried, over easy, scrambled, omelets, hard boiled - and start the day right. Other suppliers have much to learn.

Wow...I saw them at the Kroger I shop at one day, and bought them. Since then, these eggs are the only ones I use. I love Eggland’s Best eggs - I cook with them all the time. These are the only eggs that I buy for me and my family. My food tastes lighter and fluffier, and my cakes rise higher. My 4-year old was watching Wheel of Fortune and when the closing billboards appeared on TV, he first saw an ad for Disneyworld and he wanted to go there but immediately after that ad came the infamous Eggland ad and all of my five boys love eggs. Well little Jeffrey (my four year old) thought (and still believes) Eggland is Disneyworld and is begging me to take him to "Eggland!! I want to go to Eggland" he keeps chanting, "Eggland, Eggland, Eggland I want to go to Eggland". I tell you he truly believes Eggland is this magical fun place where kids go and hang with this big mouse that lays eggs!

Too bad we don`t have Eggland eggs here in Hawaii, now why couldn’t an ad hawking broccoli followed the Disneyworld ad. Timing is so essential as I`ve found out. In closing I just want to say that your advertising on Wheel of Fortune and Jeopardy really paid off as your business has been permanently implanted in my little 4-year old boy`s head. Now if you choose a big mouse as your mascot, then I`m really going to be in big trouble as I try to explain that!

My husband is on a reduced cholesterol diet; and because of that he was eating egg-beaters, which only allows you to have your eggs scrambled. Several of his favorite ways of eating eggs are hard boiled, over easy and sunnyside up. You couldn’t do that with the egg-beaters. He is also on a kick to have everyone in the family eating healthy so Eggland’s has become our egg of choice. I use it when cooking certain meals, and when I bake. Thank you so very much for a wonderful product. I read about your eggs and began buying them. I wish they weren’t so expensive, but they are certainly worth every penny! We refer to them as the Monogrammed eggs. Monogrammed articles are always so elegant; this is fitting for your eggs. I do a lot of baking and recipes turn out well risen.

The taste is also like a fresh farm egg. I had an uncle who was a chicken farmer. I have learned about eggs and have heard egg stories my whole life. Somehow, I like your eggs better because they are healthy. Do you ever have plans to sell flour, or any chicken fed only vegetarian food? The chicken should be lower in fat content. Thank you also for all the research that went into this product.

As a nurse, I do a lot of teaching. Your eggs are suggested over any, but the egg product must be mentioned in dietary planning.

I recycle your cartons and even use the shells in my garden. I have plans for trying a ring of your crushed shells around my Hostas. If this keeps the slugs from eating the Hostas, then I will mention the egg brand when I write to Organic Gardening.

I wanted to take the time to write and tell you how much my parents and I enjoyed your eggs! I always buy the grocery store brand of eggs because they are cheaper than yours, but one day I decided to try your eggs because I had a coupon. One Sat. morning, I made breakfast (eggs and bacon) for my elderly parents. My mom knew that I had bought the Eggland eggs, but my dad didn`t. When he started eating the eggs, he said, "Boy, these eggs are really extra good this morning." My mom and I laughed because we were wondering if any of us could tell the difference in the store brand vs. your brand. Well, much to our surprise, this was proof that your eggs are indeed, better! We all noticed a difference.

Presently, I am "between jobs" as the saying goes, so I will continue to buy the cheaper store brand for now, but when I find a new place of employment, I will definitely buy your eggs! They do taste great and are better health-wise.
