CEDAR KNOLLS, NJ, MARCH 30, 2010 – With its chic design and family-friendly atmosphere, Prasino (which means “green” in Greek) is the first eco-friendly restaurant in Chicago’s western suburbs.  As part of the 200-seat restaurant’s commitment to promoting local organic agriculture and food producers, the newly-opened Prasino is serving Eggland’s Best Organic shell eggs exclusively on its menu.

Eggland’s Best eggs are now an excellent source of Vitamin D, Vitamin B12 and Vitamin E and a good source of Vitamin A and Vitamin B2 (Riboflavin).  Compared to regular eggs, they contain 25 percent less saturated fat, 200 mcg of lutein for eye health, 115 mg of Omega 3 fatty acids and 19% less cholesterol (175 mg vs. 215 mg).
