Women’s Choice Award® Names Eggland’s Best America’s Most Recommended™ Eggs For Third Consecutive Year

Cedar Knolls, NJ – November 9, 2017 – As the leading advocate for female consumers, the Women’s Choice Award® has once again honored Eggland’s Best with the 2018 America’s Most Recommended™ Fresh Eggs award, for the third consecutive year.  The Women’s Choice Award® seal helps women make smart choices for themselves and their families based on the experiences and recommendations of women across the nation.

“With women accounting for 93 percent of all food purchases, being voted the most recommended egg brand by women across America three years in a row is quite the achievement,” said Delia Passi, CEO and Founder of the Women’s Choice Award®. “We salute Eggland’s Best for providing a product with the best quality, freshness, taste and nutrition – a commitment that is recognized by female consumers nationwide.”

Brands are selected to receive a Women’s Choice Award® based on a national survey that is distributed to over 100,000 women nationwide each year, asking them to select the brands they most highly recommend to their family and friends.  The award seal represents the extraordinary power and significance of today’s female consumer in determining the most recommended brands, products and services.

“We are honored to once again be recognized by the Women’s Choice Award® as America’s Most Recommended™ Eggs,” said Charlie Lanktree, President and CEO of Eggland’s Best. “We truly value the opinions of our consumers, and are thrilled that women nationwide trust that we will continue to provide a superior egg that meets the highest of standards when it comes to better taste, nutrition and freshness.”

Continued recognition from the Women’s Choice Award® reaffirms Eggland’s Best commitment to providing the only egg good enough for women and their families. Compared to ordinary eggs, EB eggs contain six times more vitamin D, 25 percent less saturated fat, more than double the Omega-3s, ten times more vitamin E and more than double the vitamin B12.  EB eggs are also an excellent source of vitamin B2 (Riboflavin) and vitamin B5. EB’s superior nutritional profile is due to its proprietary all-vegetarian hen feed that contains healthy grains, canola oil and a wholesome supplement of rice bran, alfalfa, sea kelp and Vitamin E.

“It’s no surprise Eggland’s Best eggs have once again been named America’s Most Recommended™ Eggs since they provide a better tasting and nutritionally superior product,” said Registered Dietitian and Nutritionist Dawn Jackson Blatner. “Eggland’s Best Eggs are the only eggs I recommend to my clients and serve my family since they are the only eggs with superior nutritional benefits like six times more vitamin D and double the Omega-3 fatty acids – which are crucial nutrients, especially for women.”
