Preparation
- Preheat oven to 375F
- Prepare frozen pie crust. If crust does not come in a tin, place crust gently in metal or glass pie dish. If crust does come in tin, you may want to place the crust on a baking sheet for extra support.
- Cut sausage into small chunks. Brown in frying pan over medium heat. Drain and place evenly in pie crust.
- Spread thawed hash browns over sausage evenly.
- Sprinkle shredded cheese evenly over hash browns. Set aside.
- In a medium bowl, beat together eggs, milk and pepper until well blended. Pour evenly into pie crust, covering sausage and hash browns.
- Sprinkle parmesan cheese evenly over egg mixture.
- Bake for 30-35 minutes or until slightly puffed in the middle and a knife inserted into the center comes out clean.

You can also try this recipe with turkey or chicken sausage, and different varieties of shredded cheese.
