Sweet Potato Pie
  • 2 cooked sweet potato (canned drained optional)
  • 2 cups Nevada's fresh milk
  • 2 cups sugar
  • 2 Egglands Best eggs (large)
  • 1 stick Nevada's melted butter
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1 teaspoon nutmeg
  • 1/2 teaspoon allspice (optional)
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 9 inch uncooked pie crust
  • 1 cup fresh Nevada's heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla


  1. Preheat over to 350 degrees F.
  2. In a large mixing bowl combine all ingredients except pie crust.
  3. Pour batter into pie crust and bake for 1 hour or until toothpick comes out clean.
  4. Prepare whipped topping while baking.
  5. In a cold bowl and add heavy cream. Whip until soft peaks form.
  6. Add sugar and vanilla.
  7. Continue to whip until the foam is at desired peaks.
  8. Serve pie either warm or chilled.
