Eggland’s Best Announces West Semi-Finalists in the “America’s Best Family Recipe” Contest 2020

Eggland’s Best Encourages Fans to Vote for “Best in Region” Winner

This year, Eggland’s Best (EB) called on fans from each corner of the country to show off their creativity in the kitchen by entering their tastiest family recipes in the Eggland’s Best “American’s Best Family Recipe” Contest 2020! Now, Eggland’s Best has announced the “Best in State” winners from the West, who are now in the running to win the grand prize.

Eggland’s Best is calling on EB fans once again to help decide which Western Region recipe will earn “Best in Region” and be eligible to win the $10,000 Grand Prize. “Best in Region” prize winners will each receive $1,000 and a year’s supply of Eggland’s Best eggs. “Best in State” winners will also receive a prize from Eggland’s Best, and bonus category winners will receive $500. From now through October 20, fans can visit to vote for their favorite West recipe.

“We’re always so impressed to see the ways that families from across the country incorporate Eggland’s Best eggs into their own unique family recipes,” said Charlie Lanktree, CEO of Eggland’s Best. “Now more than ever, it’s important to connect with family, and cooking is a fantastic way to do so. We’re excited to see which delicious recipe will be announced the winner of our America’s Best Family Recipe Contest!”

With mouthwatering recipes ranging from Crispy Fried Artichoke Hearts with Lemon Aioli to a sweet Maple Pumpkin Custard, the “Best in State” recipes from the West include:

  • California: Emily F. – Crispy Fried Artichoke Hearts with Lemon Aioli
  • Hawaii: Korey K. – Pao de Queijo (Brazilian Cheese Bread)
  • Idaho: Trisha K. – Maple Pumpkin Custard
  • Montana: Billie W. – Scrumptious Omelet
  • Nevada: Pamela W. – Everyone’s Favorite Butter Nut Texas Chocolate Sheet Cake
  • Oregon: Renata S – Saltimbocca Deviled Eggs
  • Washington: David R. – Pasteleria Eclairs with Dulce de Leche Crema

Once the “Best in Region” recipes are determined, fan votes combined with a panel of judges, including co-host of Food Network’s “The Kitchen,” Jeff Mauro, and Registered Dietitian and Nutritionist, Dawn Jackson Blatner, will then help determine the Grand Prize Winner.
