Are eggs good or bad for my cholesterol?

Eggland's Best better nutrition backed by clinical research.

Although eggs have gotten a bad rap over the years, research finalized in January 2024 by a leading academic medical center showed a lack of any negatives, along with a number of potential positives, for fortified eggs like Eggland’s Best.

Eggland’s Best eggs are the leading fortified egg brand in the United States. The study found that eating Eggland’s Best eggs resulted in a lack of adverse effects on lipid profiles and markers of cardiovascular risk for participants. Research suggested that consuming Eggland’s Best eggs could potentially reduce levels of “bad cholesterol” (LDL cholesterol) in certain older individuals and those with diabetes, and may help increase levels of “good cholesterol” (HDL cholesterol) in older individuals. The consumption of Eggland’s Best eggs may also increase Vitamin B12 levels, also helping to support a healthier lifestyle.
