ABC French Toast

Apple, Banana, Cinnamon (ABC) French Toast is a sweet way to start the day! You can also try this using strawberries, blueberries and honey.
Ingredients
1/4 cup almond milk
1/4 teaspoon vanilla extract
1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon
4 tablespoons unsweetened applesauce
2 bananas, sliced
6 slices whole wheat bread
Maple Syrup or Honey
Powdered sugar (optional)
Preparation
- Spray medium-size skillet with cooking spray and heat on medium-high heat.
- Mix eggs, milk, vanilla extract and apple sauce in square container or large bowl.
- Coat both sides of bread with egg mixture and place in skillet.
- Cook bread on each side 1-2 minutes or until golden brown and mixture has dried.
- When finished, top with bananas and syrup or honey (as desired); sprinkle with powdered sugar (optional).
