Bacon, Egg, Cheese Hand Pies
Perfect for those hectic and busy mornings when time is of the essence, these delicious handheld breakfast pies combine crispy bacon, fluffy eggs, and melted cheese all nestled in a flaky, portable crust that is easy to enjoy.
Ingredients
1 (13.8-ounce) package refrigerated pizza crust dough
8 (3/4-ounce) slices American cheese
6 Eggland's Best eggs, large (beaten and scrambled)
4 slices crisply cooked bacon, crumbled
1 Eggland's Best egg, large (beaten)
Preparation
- Heat oven to 450°F. Grease or line baking sheet with parchment paper; set aside.
- Press pizza dough into 15x10-inch rectangle. Cut into 4 (7x5-inch rectangles). Place 1 slice cheese onto half of each piece of dough.
- Top each with 1/3 cup scrambled eggs, 1/4 crumbled bacon and 1 slice cheese. Fold dough over filling, aligning edges. Press edges with fork to seal.
- Place onto prepared pan. Brush tops with egg; cut 2 slits in top with sharp knife.
- Bake 10-12 minutes or until golden brown.
