BBQ Deviled Eggs
BBQ Deviled Eggs put a smoky, savory spin on the classic deviled egg appetizer. Made with Eggland’s Best hard-cooked peeled eggs and blended with bold barbecue flavor, these deviled eggs are creamy, tangy, and perfect for parties, cookouts, and game day gatherings.
Ingredients
6 Eggland’s Best Hard Cooked Eggs
2 tablespoons BBQ sauce, or more to taste
2 tablespoons finely shredded cheddar or jack cheese
1 tablespoon bacon bits
1 tablespoon crispy onions
10-12 mini pickle slices, sweet or sour
1 tablespoon mayonnaise
½ tablespoon dijon mustard
½ tablespoons sour cream
½ tablespoons chives, to garnish
Salt and pepper, to taste
Preparation
- Slice hard cooked eggs in half lengthwise. Gently scoop out yolks into a medium bowl, leaving whites intact.
- Add mayo, mustard, sour cream, and salt and pepper to yolks, using back of a fork to mash and mix yolks until creamy and uniform.
- Fill a piping or reclosable storage bag (with one of the bottom tips snipped off) with yolk mixture. Pipe egg white halves with desired amount of yolk mixture.
- Place deviled eggs on a serving platter.
- Sprinkle with bacon bits, crispy onions, and a piece of pickle on top of each deviled egg.
- Drizzle with BBQ sauce, sprinkle with shredded cheese, and garnish with chives. Serve!
