Chocolate Banana Muffins
Who doesn't love chocolate and banana?! Now you can have them for breakfast or for an afternoon snack in a muffin! They are easy to make and so delicious!
Ingredients
2 over-ripe bananas
6 TBSP melted butter
½ cup brown sugar
1/3 cup Eggland's Best 100% Liquid Egg Whites
¼ TSP salt
1 TSP vanilla extract
2/3 cup all-purpose flour
1 cup chocolate chips
5 TBSP unsweetened cocoa powder
1 TSP baking soda
Preparation
- Mash bananas in a medium bowl. Add and mix melted butter, brown sugar, flour, cocoa powder, baking soda, salt, egg whites, chocolate chips, and vanilla.
- Divide batter between 12 prepared muffin liners
- Bake for 5 minutes at 425°F before turning the oven temperature down to 350°F. Bake for an additional 10 to 15 minutes
