Ethel’s Eggnog
This rich and creamy homemade eggnog is made with wholesome eggs for the perfect balance of holiday flavor and festive cheer. Smooth, indulgent, and timeless, it’s a classic recipe that brings warmth to holiday entertaining and family gatherings alike.
Ingredients
3 Eggland's Best eggs, large
1 large package instant vanilla pudding mix (can substitute sugar free mix)
1/2 gallon milk (can substitute low-fat milk)
3 tablespoons sugar (can also use a sugar substitute of your choice)
1 pint half & half (can substitute non-fat)
8oz. container of whipped topping
Preparation
- In a large bowl, mix instant pudding according to box directions. Add coconut flavoring and sugar
- Using wire whisk, beat Eggland's Best Eggs until well beaten. Add remaining milk and half and half to eggs and blend well
- Add egg mixture to pudding and mix until fully incorporated
- Fold in whipped topping
- Chill until serving time (approximately 2 hours)
