Sweet Hawaiian rolls, savory breakfast sausage, fluffy scrambled eggs, and melty cheese come together in these irresistible sliders. A buttery maple glaze adds the perfect finishing touch, making them ideal for holiday mornings, brunch with family, or any weekend breakfast gathering.

Ingredients

1 package (12-count) Hawaiian rolls

6 Eggland’s Best eggs, large

1 lb breakfast sausage (pork or turkey)

6 slices cheddar or Colby Jack cheese

3 tablespoons maple syrup, divided

2 tablespoons butter, melted

1 tablespoon milk or cream

Salt and pepper, to taste

Optional: everything-bagel seasoning or chopped chives for garnish

Preparation

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F. Line a baking dish or sheet pan with parchment paper.
  2. Brown and crumble the sausage in a skillet over medium heat. Drain excess grease and set aside.
  3. In a bowl, whisk together eggs, milk, salt, and pepper. Cook over low heat, stirring gently, until just set and soft.
  4. Slice Hawaiian rolls in half horizontally, keeping them connected. Place the bottom halves in your prepared baking dish. Layer cooked sausage, scrambled eggs, and cheese evenly over the rolls. Replace the top halves of the rolls.
  5. Mix melted butter with 2 tablespoons of maple syrup and brush generously over the tops of the rolls.
  6. Bake uncovered for 12–15 minutes, until golden and the cheese is melted.
  7. Drizzle the remaining 1 tablespoon maple syrup over the baked sliders. Sprinkle with optional everything-bagel seasoning or chives. Slice apart and serve warm.
