Use all different shaped cookie cutters to personalize these delicious treats for your furry family member.
Ingredients
- 2 ½ cups gluten-free oat flour (blend gf oats in a blender until fine)
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 1 cup creamy, natural peanut butter (Use Peanut Butter free of salt and other additives, particularly Xylitol which is poisonous to dogs.)
- ¾ cup chicken stock
- 1 Eggland’s Best egg (large)
- (Optional) Dog treat-shaped cookie cutters
Preparation
In a stand mixer or large bowl, add in flour, baking powder, and peanut butter. Mix until well-combined.
Add in egg and chicken stock and mix again until well-combined and thick dough forms.
Wrap dough in plastic wrap and refrigerate for about one hour.
Flour a working surface and preheat your oven to 350 degrees F.
Place dough on surface and roll out with a rolling pin. (You’ll probably need to divide the dough, depending on how large your surface is).
Roll until about ¼ inch thick.
Add a little extra flour to the dough before cutting treats out.
Using cookie cutters, cut out treats and set on a greased cookie sheet.
Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until golden brown.
