Bubble & Fizz Plastic Eggs

This craft uses baking soda, vinegar, and plastic eggs to create a bubble and fizz reaction inside the eggs. You can also add food coloring for a colorful effect! This is a great way for children to learn, and have an interactive science experience!

Recommended Age Group: 5 & up (with adult supervision)

This activity helps build STEAM and fine motor skills.


SUPPLIES:

  • Eggland's Best Egg Carton (empty)
  • Baking Soda
  • Vinegar
  • Plastic eggs
  • Small spoons/droppers

Optional: Food Coloring

STEP 1:

Put half of a plastic egg into each egg-compartment.

STEP 2:

Put a small amount of baking soda in each egg. If you want to add food coloring, add one drop to the baking soda now.

STEP 3:

Add vinegar with a small dropper and watch it fizz!

STEP 4:

Repeat until the reaction stops working, then dump it out and start over!
