Consumers vote Eggland’s Best most trustworthy egg in 2016 BrandSpark study
CEDAR KNOLLS, N.J., February 16, 2016– To help consumers more easily decide which grocery store products they can trust, BrandSpark International enlisted the help of nearly 40,000 American shoppers for their annual American Shopper Study. When it came to what egg brand consumers rely on, the overwhelming majority of participants named Eggland’s Best (EB) as America’s Most Trusted Egg for the second year in a row.
“The BrandSpark Most Trusted Award Program is unique as it allows consumers to identify products from brands they would truthfully recommend to their peers,” says Robert Levy, President and CEO of BrandSpark International. “In fact, American shoppers cited that Eggland’s Best tasted better than other eggs, were better in nutritional value and appeared to be fresher in taste and appearance.”
Due to a strict quality assurance program and proprietary hen feed, Eggland’s Best eggs contain 25 percent less saturated fat, ten times more vitamin E, four times more vitamin D and more than double the omega-3 fatty acids than ordinary eggs. In addition, a study in the Journal of Applied Poultry Research showed that Eggland’s Best eggs stay fresher longer than ordinary eggs.
