Ingredients

1 box of chocolate cake mix

3 Eggland's Best eggs, large

1 cup water

1/2 cup oil

1 tub of store bought chocolate frosting

large candy eyeballs

red chocolate candies

vanilla wafer cookies

1 box chocolate-dipped biscuit sticks

chocolate melting wafers

holiday sprinkles

Preparation

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F. Spray a donut pan with nonstick cooking spray.
  2. Combine boxed cake mix, eggs, oil, and water in large bowl. Whisk until blended.
  3. Transfer cake batter to cavities of donut pan, filling each about 3/4 full.
  4. Bake for 10-12 minutes. Remove from oven and allow to cool.
  5. Transfer chocolate frosting to medium bowl and microwave for 60 seconds or until it melts into a silky glaze.
  6. Dip the tops of the donuts in and place on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  7. Add vanilla cookies, red nose, and eyes.
  8. To create antlers- line up pairs of chocolate-dipped biscuit sticks onto a piece of parchment or wax paper. Use melted chocolate in a piping bag to create antlers on the tips of each biscuit.
  9. Decorate with sprinkles to mimic Christmas lights. Place in the fridge until set and attach two to the tops of each donut.
