1/2 cup butter

1 1/4 cups chocolate chips

3/4 cup sugar

pinch sea salt

1 tsp vanilla

3 Eggland's Best eggs, large

1 Eggland's Best egg yolk

1/2 cup cocoa powder

1/2 cup heavy cream


  1. Preheat your oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit. Line an 8 inch springform pan with parchment paper.
  2. Melt the butter and chocolate chips.
  3. Add in the sugar, salt, and vanilla. Stir.
  4. Add in the eggs and egg yolk. Stir.
  5. In another bowl, whip the heavy cream until it resembles whipped cream.
  6. Fold the whipped cream into the chocolate mixture.
  7. Pour into the lined pan.
  8. Bake for 25 to 27 minutes.
  9. Allow the cake to cool before serving.
