Baked Puff Pastry Turnover Eggs
With the recent trend of upside - down puff pastry turnovers, here’s a really easy, delicious breakfast to make your dreams come true. Combining puff pastry, eggs, and cheese, this breakfast will get you out of bed and wanting more!

Ingredients
1 sheet of puff pastry cut into 4 squares
1 cup of grated cheese
4 Eggland's Best Cage-Free Large Eggs, plus 1 extra for brushing on top of the puff pastry
¼ cup of chopped chives
Salt and pepper
Preparation
- Lay out some parchment paper on a baking tray.
- Add ¼ cup of cheese to 4 sections of the tray leaving space in between. Create a nest so the egg will stay in place.
- Crack the egg into the middle of the cheese, then break the egg and scramble it just a bit. Add some chopped chives, salt, and pepper.
- Place the cut piece of pastry over the egg and cheese, making sure to press it down onto the parchment to seal the ingredients in.
- Brush the top of the puff pastry with the extra beaten egg and bake at 425°F for 15 minutes.
